Green light given to 36-hole golf course in Ha Nam

HCMC - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has given the nod to a plan to build a 36-hole golf course on 198.24 hectares in the northern province of Ha Nam, the Government news website reports.

He has told the provincial government to adjust its land use plan by 2020 and its five-year land use plan for 2016-2020 and submit the adjustments to relevant agencies for approval. The province will have to closely watch investors’ implementation of the project to make sure that regulations on investment, construction, business, land use and environment are strictly observed.

The Kim Bang golf course project will be developed in the valleys of Ngang stream and Dau Trau.

The PM has also agreed to scale down the 36-hole GS Cu Chi golf course project in HCMC from 200 hectares to 90 hectares with 18 holes.

The city will consult with the Ministries of Culture-Sports-Tourism, Natural Resources-Environment, Construction, and Finance over how to use the remaining 110 hectares of land.
