The world-renowned opera “The Magic Flute” in German by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart will make a comeback at the HCMC Opera House at 8 p.m. on June 30 and July 1.

The performance, which is arranged by the HCMC Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera (HBSO) in cooperation with Transposition Program in Norway, will take place under the baton of conductor Tran Nhat Minh and be directed by German opera director David Hermann.

The opera is about the love story of Prince Tamino and the beautiful Tamina. Spectators can see contrasts and similarities between good and evil, day and night, men and women and passion and will. Tamino and Tamina have to experience many difficulties in life to find true love.
