All five members of the Vietnamese team attending the 48th International Physics Olympiad held in Indonesia from July 16 to 24 had grasped medals, with four gold and one silver, the highest-ever achievement, the Vietnam News Agency reports.

The four gold medals went to Dinh Anh Dung, a twelfth-grade student of Amsterdam High School in Hanoi, Ta Ba Dung, a 12th grader from the High School for Gifted Students of Hanoi University of Science under Vietnam National University in Hanoi, Nguyen The Quynh from Vo Nguyen Giap Gifted High School in the central province of Quang Binh, and Tran Huu Binh Minh from Phan Boi Chau Gifted High School in the central province of Nghe An.
