World-renowned U.S. singer Ariana Grande has announced the cancellation of her show in HCMC on her official Instagram due to health reasons.

Tuoi Tre cites a source from the show’s organizer saying that the 23-year-old singer has been suffering from a high fever since her arrival in Vietnam on Tuesday. Her health has not been much improved five hours before the show, forcing her to make a decision on canceling the concert in the last minute.

As earlier scheduled, the American singer was to take the stage on August 23 at the Military Zone 7 Stadium in HCMC’s Tan Binh District, as part of her “Dangerous Woman” world tour.

The renowned singer started her performance tour in early February in the U.S. to promote her third album “Dangerous Woman” released last year to thousands of young people and music enthusiasts around the world.

Grande has gained fame after her debut album “Yours Truly” released in 2013. Her second album “My Everything” in 2014 was marked as a big turning point in her music career.

She has won prestigious awards such as the annual U.S-based MTV Video Music Awards and the American Music Awards, and earned four nominations for the Grammy awards.

Last year, she was on the list of 100 most influential people in the world announced by the Time Magazine.
