AkzoNobel repaints 100 schools for Vietnamese students

AkzoNobel, a major paints and coatings company, is working on a project to give a new coating to 100 schools across the country in three years on the occasion of the new academic year.

In the year to date, the company has donated 35,000 liters of paint to repaint 20 schools in remote areas.

As many as 350 staff members of AkzoNobel Vietnam have spent more than 2,800 working hours to take part in the project.

Chau Ngoc Tuan, principal of Kim Dong Secondary School in Nui Thanh District, Quang Nam Province, said students will benefit from a repainted learning space.

In addition, AkzoNobel has donated 2,700 liters of paint to beautify alleys and streets in the city and provided necessary equipment for disadvantaged people, people with disabilities, orphans, and the elderly.
