Staff members of CapitaLand Vietnam and its wholly-owned serviced residence business unit, The Ascott Limited (Ascott), late last week participated in a charitable activity in the southern province of Binh Phuoc.

At the event, CapitaLand and Ascott donated stationery, schoolbags and milk to around 600 poor students of Dang Ha and Ly Tu Trong primary schools in Bu Dang District of the province.

This is one of the annual community-based activities of CapitaLand and Ascott as part of their commitment to provide accommodation, healthcare services and education for underprivileged children in Vietnam.

Lew Yen Ping, general manager for Ascott in Vietnam, said in a statement that corporate social responsibility is a core value in its business development goals in an effort to make positive contributions to the community and bring a better quality of life for less fortunate kids in the country.
