Lawmakers to grill three ministers, chief judge

HCMC – Three ministers and the chief judge will take the floor at the ongoing session of the National Assembly from November 16 to 18 to take questions from lawmakers, the Government news website reports.

Minister of Finance Dinh Tien Dung will have to answer questions about tax, customs, public debt, and financial system.

Le Minh Hung, governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, is responsible for answering questions about monetary policy, credit growth, handling of poor-performing banks, and the restructuring of the banking system.

Minister of Information and Communications Truong Minh Tuan is assigned to answer questions about the use of information technology for administrative reform, media management, communication services, and solutions to coping with harmful information on the Internet.

Chief of the Supreme People’s Court Nguyen Hoa Binh will take questions about measures for improving the quality of court proceedings, especially those involving civil, administrative and corruption cases, and judicial reform.

After the Q&A session, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc will be on hand to take questions from National Assembly deputies over issues related to the Government.
