Vietnam Young Lions 2018 has been officially launched to search for young Vietnamese talents who are studying or working in the advertising industry and media in Vietnam.

The competition is aimed to look for six talents in three categories: film, digital, and marketers, in which the winners will represent Vietnam to compete in Cannes Young Lions, an international competition with more than 400 contestants from countries across the globe.

Cannes Young Lions is part of Cannes Lions, the biggest annual festival of the global advertising and communication industry scheduled to take place in June this year in France.

This is the third consecutive year that AIM Academy has organized the leading creative contest in Vietnam for those interested in the fields of advertising and communication.

Qualified candidates for the contest must be Vietnamese citizens under 30 years old, who demonstrates excellent English proficiency.

Pham Thi Dieu Anh, head of the organizing committee and managing director of AIM Academy, said that the competition with its theme “Live with a Lion’s Heart” is meant to encourage young people to show off their confidence, courage, and skills at the international-level advertising and communication competition and help to reinforce Vietnam’s position on the international arena.

Registrations are open from now until March 30. Further information about Vietnam Young Lions 2018 can be found at www.vietnamyounglions.net.
