Party has new inspection chief

HCMC – The Party Central Committee (PCC) on May 9 elected Tran Cam Tu, standing deputy head of the PCC Inspection Commission, as head of the commission, replacing Tran Quoc Vuong.

On the third working day of the PCC’s seventh plenary session, Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong chaired the morning session which discussed personnel issues. The PCC let Tran Quoc Vuong, Politburo member and permanent member of the Party Secretariat, relinquish the post of head of the Inspection Commission.

A new member of the Inspection Commission is Hoang Van Tra, deputy secretary of Phu Yen Province’s Party Committee, provincial chairman and head of the National Assembly deputies delegation of the province.

The PCC also elected two more members of the Party Secretariat. They are Tran Thanh Man, PCC member and president of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, and Tran Cam Tu, PCC member and chairman of the Inspection Commission.
