Bui Van Thanh has been relieved of his post as Deputy Minister of Public Security, and Tran Viet Tan is stripped of his title as former Deputy Minister of Public Security for the 2011-2016 tenure, due to their serious infringements of regulations on land management and protection of state secrets, reported local media.
