HCMC – Pham Phu Ngoc Trai has resigned from his positions as both chairman and CEO of PepsiCo Indochina and vice president of corporate affairs for PepsiCo Southeast Asia, after working for the beverage giant for 18 years.
In a farewell letter, Indra Nooyi, PepsiCo’s chairman cum CEO, praised Trai’s many contributions to the company.
“He has developed a successful culture at PepsiCo which will be passed on to the younger generations working here,” she said.
Born in 1955, Trai’s experience in the industry is vast. This year, he will launch his own business, Global Integration Business Consultants Co. – a service that will provide business strategy, public relations, human resources and market research advice.
“I would like to join hands with other enterprises for a larger business career,” he said.
According to a PepsiCo Vietnam statement, Trai will continue to serve as head of the company’s external affairs advisory board.
