ANGVA Green Highways 2009 journey reaches Vietnam

HCMC – ANGVA Green Highways 2009, a parade organized by the Asia Pacific Natural Gas Vehicles Association (ANGVA), will enter Vietnam today as a destination of the journey to promote the use of natural gas for transportation in the region.
In Vietnam, the organizers will hand over the torch and flag to a Vietnamese team at the Cau Treo border gate in Ha Tinh Province today, said representatives of ANGVA, Vietnam Ventures Limited and PetroVietnam Sports and Cultural Joint Stock Company at a press conference in HCMC on Wednesday. The delegation will parade through central and northern cities before wrapping up the journey in Vietnam next Monday.
ANGVA Green Highways 2009 includes Highway A through Iran, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Myanmar while ANGVA Green Highway B comprises Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and China. The two journeys will end in South Korea for the ANGVA Conference 2009 October 27-29.
