HCMC – Denmark will fund US$1.7 million for climate change projects in Vietnam in 2010, said the Ministry of Science and Technology.
The fund is part of the program between the Vietnamese and Danish governments for researching climate change from 2008 to 2010.
Three projects have been chosen this year, each lasting three years, for technology, human resources and social impacts.
The ministry has announced the news to scientists nationwide, calling for their ideas by March 12 to pass them on to the Danish embassy on April 4.
The Danish embassy will then work with the ministry to choose partners from Denmark and complete legal procedures to start implementing the projects in January, 2011.
