SetiaBecamex celebrates first year success

HCMC - SetiaBecamex JSC last week opened champagnes to toast the first year of success since the property project developer launched the mammoth township project Ecolakes My Phuoc in the southern province of Binh Duong last year.
Khoo Teck Chong, general director of SetiaBecamex, was upbeat about the company’s business performance last year, as he spoke to guests at the anniversary celebration held here in HCMC late last week.
The company launched its first sales program of the township last year, offering some 250 row-houses from VND1.1 billion each and 58 villas and twin villas from VND2.5 billion each. Some 96% of the row houses and 65% of the villas have been sold, according to the developer.
Ecolakes My Phuoc covers 226 hectares in the province and will provide 10,000 housing units, including terraced houses, villas, apartments and commercial buildings.
Khoo highlighted that it was the Ecolakes Show Village featuring different kinds of products in the township that had supported the company’s sales program among other incentives.
The developer says it will launch another 100 row houses and start offering apartments from VND600 million each in the second sales program. To make the program move, it offers purchasers 2% discounts on their next property purchase and a cash reward worth 1% of the purchase price when they introduce their family and friends to buy a property there.
“We believe 2010 will be a much better year for everyone as the economy will be back on track, and we are looking forward to leveraging on the gains of 2009,” Khoo said.
