‘Bi, dung so’ featured at Francophone Film Festival
Vietnamese film ‘Bi, dung so !’ (Bi! Don’t Be Afraid) directed by Phan Dang Di and Clair Agnes Lajoumard was featured at the second Francophone Film Festival taking place in Paris until Tuesday, reports VietnamPlus.

Present at the screening in La Pagode on Wednesday were Le Hong Chuong, director of the Vietnamese Cultural Centre in France, Philippe Kaltenbach, vice president of Ile-de-France Regional Council and many overseas Vietnamese, French and international friends.
The film aroused much discussion among viewers and some French and international friends commented that it is not a traditional Vietnamese movie but it is highly regarded by many in the film industry.
The film was introduced at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival and the 2010 Vancouver International Film Festival. It won a prize at the 2011 Asian Film Festival.
