My Week with Marilyn

My Week with Marilyn is a British drama directed by Simon Curtis, following Colin Clark (Eddie Redmayne), an employee of film director Sir Laurence Olivier (Kenneth Branagh), who is seduced by the sexy and beautiful actress Marilyn Monroe (Michelle Williams).

Laurence Olivier makes a movie in London and employs young Colin Clark, an eager film student, as an assistant director. When movie star Marilyn Monroe arrives for the start of shooting, all of London is excited to see the blonde bombshell.

While Olivier is struggling to meet her many demands and acting ineptness, Colin is lured by her. Colin’s intrigue is met when Marilyn invites him into her inner world where she struggles with her fame, her beauty and her desire to be a great actress.

The film is being screened at MegaStar cinemas.
