HCMC – The 8th China Exhibition of Machinery and Equipment, or Chinamac Fair 2010, kicked off on Wednesday in HCMC as the largest show in Vietnam of latest products of Chinese enterprises.

The four-day event at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in District 7 is displaying machinery and equipment used in construction, transport, agriculture, garments, food processing, chemical and electronics industries among others.

The show features more than 350 stalls of 250 Chinese businesses, said the event organizers. They believe that the fair would give them an opportunity to build business links with Vietnamese customers and boost sales in Vietnam.

China has been Vietnam’s largest trading partner since 2004.
