HCMC - Autodesk, Inc., a world leader in 2D and 3D design, engineering and entertainment software, late last week introduced its newest software portfolio for building design, infrastructure and construction industries.

Autodesk’s 2011 software products are aimed to help increase industry adoption of the Building Information Modeling (BIM) process, facilitate multidisciplinary collaboration and address new and renovation projects, said Autodesk Vietnam’s country manager Phan Trung Hieu.

“The building design, construction and infrastructure industries must improve productivity, while at the same time completing complex projects on time and within, or under budget,” Hieu said.

He explained that Autodesk’s new 2011 software helped bring enormous benefits of Building Information Modeling, and facilitating multidisciplinary collaboration from start to finish for new constructions and renovations on residential and business projects to large-scale infrastructure and government projects.
