HANOI - Vietnamese internet security company Bkav on Wednesday launched a new e-Government software package, joining enterprises like FPT and Microsoft that already create programs for the sector.
The product, named Bkav eGate, is an information system that will computerize all State services.
It will create a close connection between Government and local residents via the internet. In addition, the software will allow the Government to manage all paperwork online – saving time and money for both residents and the State.
Residents can also send SMS enquiries or contact the Government’s automatic contact center for relevant information.
Nguyen Tu Hoang, Director of Bkis Software and manager of Bkav’s e-government sector, said that the software had high connection and compatibility capacities.
“To date, the products are being used in Ba Ria-Vung Tau and Khanh Hoa provinces. Bkav plans to deploy the software in another 13 provinces soon,” he said, adding that the company hoped the program would be used nationwide within the next three years.
Bkav established its e-government project seven years ago, which includes its eOffice software that is in use in 13 provinces.
