British Council discounts IELTS test fee

British Council has offered a discounted fee of VND2.8 million for the IELTS (International English LanguageTesting System) tests for those who register from August 1 to November 30 and schedule the test dates before April 1 next year. The standard IELTS fee is US$170 or about VND3.1 million.

Singapore awards eight scholarships to local students

Eight Vietnamese students have just earned the 2010 Singapore scholarships, with four from Hanoi and another four from HCMC, to study for a three or four-year undergraduate degree at a university in Singapore, starting in July or August.  Their choices are the National University of Singapore, the Singapore Nanyang Technological University or the Singapore Management University.
