The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has granted the Advertising Research and Training Institute of Vietnam (ARTI Vietnam) a certificate of recognition for its outstanding contribution to the country’s advertising industry.
ARTI Vietnam president Do Kim Dung told the Daily that though ARTI Vietnam was established two years ago, the institute had organized 20 courses on advertising, communications, branding, public relations and events to assist Vietnam’s fast growing marketing and advertising industry.
Dung said more than 450 students had attended the institute’s courses in Hanoi, HCMC and Can Tho cities. ARTI has also presented 70 scholarships worth more than VND600 million as of June 2010 to train professional advertising experts. ARTI Vietnam is also working with overseas partners to become a major advertising institute in Vietnam by 2015.
