Vietnam wins four medals at Chemistry Olympiad

The Ministry of Education and Training on Wednesday announced that four Vietnamese students had won medals at the 2010 International Chemistry Olympiad held in Tokyo City, Japan from July 19 to 28.

Nguyen Duc Binh from Lam Son High School in Thanh Hoa Province and Luu Nguyen Hong Quang from a high school for gifted students under the Vietnam National University in HCMC earned a silver each. Le Anh Tuan from Tran Phu High School in Hai Phong Province and Mai Thi Cuc from Nguyen Trai High School in Hai Duong Province got two bronzes.

Students from 69 nations and territories attended the 42nd International Chemistry Olympiad.
