Best story to win in RMIT English contest

By Thanh Hang in HCMC

RMIT VN English Club will host the final round of the story-telling contest named “The symphony of life” at Melbourne Theatre of RMIT Campus, 702 Nguyen Van Linh Parkway, HCMC’s District 7 on 4 p.m., August 26.

As RMIT is an international university with courses in English, the English Club organized this contest for the RMIT community and other young people to share their life experience, improve their storytelling skills, be creative and have fun.

From August 3, the first round of the contest asked for an audio or video five minutes long telling a story about life experience. Seven finalists will be chosen to present their stories on stage in English. Three winners will be awarded with cash prizes and books from the sponsors.

There will be live music from the student orchestra of HCMC Conservatory of Music at the final and talks from Phoenix Ho and Nhan Nguyen – two RMIT lecturers.

To register send an email with the subject as “Storytelling contest” with your name, email and phone number to rmitenglishclub@gmail.com, or call Nhi at 0979877253 before 4p.m. on Thursday.
