Ngoi Sao Hoc Duong seeks beautiful, talented students
By Kieu Giang in HCMC
To honor both the beauty and talent of Vietnamese students and to follow on from the success of last year’s contest, Ngoi Sao Hoc Duong (school’s stars) contest will be held from now until December 23 nationwide.
The contest, co-organized by Dell Vietnam and Intel Vietnam, will take place at six locations nationwide - Quy Nhon University (October 7), Nha Trang University (October 14), Hanoi University (October 20), Dia Bay Stadium in Danang City (October 28), Can Tho University (November 10) and HCMC (November 18).
This is a chance for male and female students to show their beauty, confidence and talent. Contestants will be challenged in four rounds - a photo qualification round, direct elimination round, school’s final round and national round.
In the contest’s coronation, held at Military Zone 7 Stadium in HCMC’s Phu Nhuan District on December 23, 12 finalists will compete in some challenges including casual wear, impressive costumes, traditional costumes of Vietnam’s ethnic groups and Q&A session.
Prior to the final round’s night, contestants will take part in a training course by experts for communication and performance skills and join in exchange programs with popular artists.
The contest’s winner will become an ambassador for Dell in Vietnam. Regional winners have the chance to win Dell laptops, notebooks, cash and free shopping vouchers.
An application for the contest should consist of two photos (one portrait and one body shot) with your full name, school, faculty, vital statistics and weight.
