HCMC - Germany’s Berlin School of Economics and Law signed four agreements with HCMC Open University covering education cooperation, student exchange, researcher and lecturer exchange and a doctorate degree program for accounting and administration.
Franz Herbert Rieger, president of the German university, told the Daily at the signing ceremony held at HCMC Open University in HCMC’s District 3 on Tuesday, “This is the first time our school has cooperated with universities in Southeast Asia.”
According to the five-year agreements, the two schools each semester will exchange five students and a lecturer to study and conduct research.
The agreement on financial accounting and administration will be taught in English with lecturers from the Berlin school. The doctorate course will begin in October.
Berlin School of Economics and Law also signed agreements with the Banking Academy in Hanoi on Monday to exchange students and lecturers and provide doctorate degree courses.
