This year, the summer camp group will depart from HCMC for the north along the route South – Central – North and stop at Tan Trao Bodhi Tree historical relic in Tuyen Quang Province.

The participants have good academic performance at school and are actively involved in community activities in support of the homeland. They are fit enough to join the long journey across Vietnam by bus and by train. They are also fluent in Vietnamese to join the camp activities and network with others.

There will be a series of significant activities in many provinces, such as ceremonies to pay homage to those who sacrificed in the struggle to achieve the nation’s independence and freedom. The campers will also meet with young people in Danang, Nghe An and Tuyen Quang.

Apart from that, there will be visits to Vietnam’s World Heritage sites such as Hoi An ancient town, Hue ancient capital, and Ha Long Bay.  Other famous landmarks are also included in the program: HCMC’s Reunification Palace and Nha Rong Wharf; Thien Mu Pagoda, temples dedicated to Tran Nhan Tong King and Huyen Tran Princess in Hue City; historical relics related to kings under the Dinh and Le dynasties in Ninh Binh Province, and the Temple of Literature in Hanoi.
