Automaker Ford Vietnam has wrapped up its fourth Technician Skills Contest at the Ben Thanh Ford dealership in the city.
Twelve teams from every authorized Ford dealership in the country competed in the contest last week as part of the best-in-class Quality Care service program applied by Ford in Vietnam.
The winning technician was Bui Huy Duc of HCMC-based Saigon Ford; Le Anh Khoa from Ben Thanh Ford in HCMC came second; and Pham Van Lam of Dong Nai Ford ranked third.
The entrants were tested in theory and practice; repair procedures; diagnostics; and customer service skills.
Each team consisted of a service manager, a technician, a technical trainer, a service consultant, and a customer service employee.
“Vietnam is among the top markets where Ford gets the highest customer satisfaction score,” Michael Pease, general director of Ford Vietnam, said
The Technician Skills Contest is one of many activities of Ford Vietnam aiming to raise awareness of new auto repair technologies, communication skills and management knowledge into daily repair and service practice of its dealers.
