Nguyen Thi Tuyet Lan has signed a deal with New York-based Wilhelmina Models which should be a great platform for her to develop her international modeling career.

Lan, who was Vietnam’s Next Top Model (VNTM) 2010 runner-up and winner of Asian Model Search 2011 in Singapore, is in Vietnam to prepare for her working visa for the U.S. and immigration visa for Europe.

These are important steps for the 22-year-old if she is to parade at catwalks in Milan, Paris, London and New York.

Lan, who is 1.76 meters tall and has vital statistics of 82-63-90, will be a new face at Wilhelmina Models which is home to some of the world’s hottest models like Wang Xiao, Coco Rocha, Zhao Lei and Clement Chabernaud.

During a spell in New York, Lan and Hoang Thi Thuy, winner of VNTM 2011, joined fashion shows by Zang Toi and Adrien Alicea.

Wilhelmina Models was founded in 1967 by Wilhelmina Cooper, a top fashion model, and is one of the oldest and largest fashion model management companies in the world. Located in New York, Los Angeles, and Miami Wilhelmina Models works with companies such as Versace, Prada, Hugo Boss, Banana Republic, Nike and L’Oreal. It also specializes in producing national model searches with media partners including Seventeen, Shape and Men’s Fitness.
