Duxton has new Director of Sales & Marketing
The Duxton Hotel Saigon welcomes back Hirohide Toba as Director of Sales & Marketing. Prior to rejoining the Duxton, Toba worked in the same capacity at the Legend Hotel Saigon.
Toba, from Japan, has over fifteen years experience in the hotel industry. He will offer his professional experience in serving valued hotel guests, clients and all business associates.
Intercontinental Asiana Saigon has Chinese Chef
The InterContinental Asiana Saigon Hotel announced last Friday that Andy Leong Siew Fye has been appointed Chinese Chef for its Yu Chu signature restaurant set to open in December. Under the leadership of Chef Andy, the restaurant will offer a menu that embraces authentic Cantonese and Peking cuisine.

Yu Chu is a 146-seat fine dinning restaurant specializing in authentic Cantonese and Peking cuisine, with signature dishes such as handmade noodles, dim sum and Peking duck prepared from the live show kitchen.
Victoria names two new key executives
French-invested Victoria Hotels & Resorts has announced two new appointments at the Victoria Sapa Resort & Spa.
Sebastien Rodriguez has been promoted to General Manager of the Victoria Sapa Resort & Spa. The French national joined the Victoria group in 2007 as Victoria Express Train Manager and took over the position of Food & Beverage Manager at the Victoria Hoi An Beach Resort & Spa one year later.
Andreas Purwoaji Santiago is the newly appointed Rooms Division Manager of the Victoria Sapa. The Indonesian national previously worked for the Four Seasons in Jakarta, the Banyan Tree in Bintan, the Legian Bali & Club at the Legian and the Chedi Club Ubud in Bali.
