CampSOAR is set to be held for the first time in Vietnam from July 6-8 in garden house Long Thuan in District 9.
The first camp, which targets primary students aged 8-11, will be directed by Justin Koh who has deployed training programs for over 200 primary and high schools and was named ‘Outstanding businessman’ in 2010 by Singapore’s Today magazine. The camp will also see the participation of Vietnam’s fashion designer Si Hoang.
The three-day course features activities such as ‘Team Building’, ‘Understanding Yourself’ based on ‘The Theory of Multiple Intelligence’ of Howard Gardner, or ‘Effective Study Skills’ based on ‘The 7 Habits of Happy Kids’ of Stephen Covey.
Parents of participating trainees will have a chance to join ‘Aesthetics Education and Creative Minds Development For Kids’ conference to be presented by Hoang.
Participation fees are VND4.8 million per person, including meals, drinks, accommodation, materials and transport fees.
In Singapore, the course attracted more than 50,000 primary and high school pupils.
