Saigonese consider going to a cafe as part of everyday life; a place for friends to meet, for couples to date, for families to gather or even for workers to do business.

The city has cafes built in varied architectural styles from Western, Asian, modern and ancient and designed in luxury, nostalgic, classic or trendy modes. Among them, the newly-opened Bagorio cafe is suggested as an ideal place for fashionistas or teen trendies.

Located in a small alley off Phan Dang Luu Street, from the outside, the cafe looks like a small house with a wooden signboard ‘Bagorio Cafe’ and an old Vespa scooter near the window. It boasts the perfect combination of white and cobalt blue on the walls as well as its many features.

Bagorio is a small cozy corner studded with bookcases, blue glass flower vases and scattered around are small paintings. All table sets are made of white wood, highlighting flower baskets hanging in the window or flower vases on tables.

On the evenings of Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the cafe will hold ‘sing together’ programs so guests have a chance to show their talent for singing or playing musical instruments for friends.

From Thursday to Sunday, guests are entertained with acoustic shows and guitar performances by It’s Time and singers Vo Trong Phuc, Hang Bing Boong, Ha My and Nguyen An.

The cafe is located at 23/41 Phan Dang Luu Street in Binh Thanh District.
