PetroVietnam Finance Corporation (PVFC) in collaboration with The Tan Ha Noi (New Ha Noi Arts) Company has inaugurated the first phase of the “Ceramic road along the Red River” (Hanoi Ceramic Mosaic Mural) project.

The part of the ceramic mosaic sponsored by PVFC is 68 meters long and located at the Red River’s mural on Tran Quang Khai Street. Its main patterns follow bas-relief architecture to simulate particular symbols of Hanoi such as Khue Van Cac, Chua Mot Cot (One Pillar Pagoda), The Huc Bridge, Hanoi ancient towns, O Quan Chuong and Long Bien Bridge.

“The first phase of the project which covers more than 3,000 square meters is equivalent to 3,000 meters of the total length of 6,000 meters of the whole construction. It not only beautifies Hanoi but also helps preserve national cultural values. The sponsor of PVFC is a meaningful contribution to promote the project of Hanoi Ceramic Mosaic Mural to finish on time,” said Ngo Thi Thanh Hang, vice chairwoman of the Hanoi People’s Committee.

“Ceramic road along the Red River” will be the longest ceramic road in the world and may enter the Guinness World Records.
