Procter & Gamble Co. in cooperation with Tuoi Tre newspaper completed new rest rooms for Tan Quy Tay Elementary School in HCMC’s Binh Chanh District over the weekend. The construction valued at VND130 million will make life a little easier for the school’s 500 students.
This was part of the Rest Rooms for Schools program of P&G and Tuoi Tre newspaper invested with VND1.2 billion to build or re-build rest rooms at rural area schools where hygienic conditions are low due to lack of funds.
So far, seven schools have been equipped with new rest rooms in HCMC’s Can Gio and Binh Chanh districts and in Ben Tre Province’s Mo Cay District.
