11 new relics named in HCMC
To celebrate International Museum Day, the HCMC Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism last Saturday handed over certificates to four national-level relics and seven city-level sites in the city, Tuoi Tre reports.
The Museum of HCMC, Museum of Vietnamese History, HCMC People’s Court and HCMC Opera House are the four new national-level sites. Meanwhile, the city-level titles belong to Buu Son Pagoda, Continental Hotel, HCMC Fine Arts Museum, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School and Tan Khai Communal House, Binh Khanh Communal House-Tran Quang Dao Tomb and Phu Xuan Communal House.
The city now has 143 works classified as relics, with 58 netting national-level titles and 85 city-level sites.
