Xuan Hong Festival 2010 will be held at My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi this weekend, aiming to call for public blood donations to give more chances for life for patients.
To attract more participation by young people, students and locals, the organizers decided to hold the festival from February 22 to March 13, but officially on March 6. The festival expects to attract 10,000 people for around 7,000 units of blood and about 3,000 units of blood on March 6.
Apart from blood donations, the event also includes a series of artistic activities such as music shows, food programs and funny games. Especially, the event will set a record for the longest scarf weaved by the largest number of blood donors.
