Mid-Autumn Festival is coming

To celebrate the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival that falls on Sept. 22 this year, hotels prepare exquisitely handmade or imported moon cakes for guests besides some promotions and program to celebrate the special events.

Hotel Equatorial: Guests can select their own assortment of 11 sumptuous flavors, including Pandan Lotus, Tiramisu, Low sugar yam Gingko among others. They comes in four  types of boxes with four moon cakes of customers’ choice and historical moon cake story inside a paper bag. They are priced from VND 360,000 to VND 760,000 per box.

For “early bird” orders before Aug. 29, the customers purchase 10 boxes, they get 1 box free. In addition, there is free delivery to one destination within Districts 1, 3, 5, 10 and offer complimentary greeting cards for orders of 30 boxes or more.

Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon: Chefs of the hotel prepares delicacies of moon cakes that are presented in traditional Chinese style like pandan lotus single yolk, tiramisu and much more. Besides, its moon cakes are sold out at least a week before the mid-autumn festival at US$29 net per box of four moon-cakes. Special discounts include 5% for all Renaissance Dining Club Card Members, 10% for any order of 10 boxes or more, 15% for any order of 50 boxes or more and 20% for any order of 100 boxes or more.

Intercontinental Asiana Saigon Hotel: The hotel’s Yu Chu restaurant is now offering luxury moon cakes with exclusive flavors including supreme mixed nuts, pureed lotus with egg yolk,green bean and sesame seed. Prices are ranged from VND350,000/box of two cakes and VND700,000/box of four cakes.

Sofitel Saigon Plaza: The hotel offers to customers delightful  flavors of moon cakes, mainly at its Gourmand Shop. To further enrich guests’ experience, the cakes will be presented in traditional boxes. It proposes in box of two or four moon cakes with prices range between VND 280,000+ to VND 500,000+. Bookings are open from Aug. 15.

Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers: The delectable moon cakes of the hotel are  made by the hotel’s team of Chinese chefs .There is an assortment of fragrant flavors including red lotus, white lotus, jasmine and black sesame to choose from. Moon cakes will be available for sale and collection from Aug. 16 to Sept. 22 at Li Bai Chinese Restaurant, The Lounge and Mojo Café on Dong Khoi.

Windsor Plaza Hotel: Available from Aug. 10 until Sept. 22, Windsor offers mooncakes in many types ranging from white lotus seeds,  and green tea fillings. Moreover, it has ice cream mooncakes available in four delicious flavors, at VND48,000+ per piece. All boxes have been redesigned this year which is the fusion between modernity and tradition Windsor mooncakes are available from VND108,000+ per piece.
