Majestic has had a new director since early this year. Nguyen Anh Vu, former director of Saigon-Morin Hotel in Hue, was officially appointed director of Majestic Hotel to replace Tao Van Nghe, who was sent to Rex Hotel, by Saigontourist Holding Company.
Built in 1925, Majestic Hotel had three floors with 44 rooms at that time. Adopting special architectural style and situated near the bank of the Saigon River, on Dong Khoi Street, the hotel then became a choice for noble people.
After being renovated many times, Majestic is now a five-star hotel meeting international standards with 175 rooms, six restaurants and bars, but still maintains its antiquity and attractiveness. The 85-year-old hotel managed by Saigontourist is one of the top five-star hotels and is highly appreciated by tourists.
“Quality is still the first element that we always concern as customers are choosier and require services correlative with the amount that they spend,” said Nguyen Anh Vu. He still follows the previous strategies on promotion of the value of an ancient hotel’s brand name.
The hotel always puts an emphasis on management that is the life-line that brings business efficiency. Transparency is a strong foundation for sustainable development. Majestic’s orientation is to enhance the quality of products and services and continue seeking the perfection. Efforts are being made to introduce the hotel’s brand name to new markets, and customers, take advantage of the MICE (meeting, incentives, conventions and exhibitions) market and domestic market of high-income customers, and maintain the “attentive, friendly, immediate and careful” serving culture.
