HOSE posts first-half pre-tax profit of VND200 billion

HCMC – The Hochiminh Stock Exchange (HOSE) reported nearly VND200 billion in pre-tax profit in the first six months of this year, doubling that in 2016 and meeting around 99% of this year’s target.

Vietnam to launch derivatives market

HANOI – Vietnam’s derivatives market will make debut Thursday with the first derivatives product being the futures contract for the VN30 Index, a sub-index on the HCMC stock exchange that gauges the performance of the 30 largest companies by market capitalization.
Profit taking drives VN-Index down
