HCMC – The Hochiminh Stock Exchange has added jewelry firm PNJ, lender VPB and retail group VRE into the VN30-Index, tracking the performance of the 30 largest stocks by market capitalization. Meanwhile, lender BID, insurer BVH and power firm NT2 are removed from the VN30 basket. The new list will be valid from July 23 to January 25, 2019.

HCMC – Hai Phat Investment Company will issue VND500 billion worth of secured inconvertible bonds in the third quarter of this year. The three-year notes will be sold at a face value of VND1 billion each. Besides, the firm will float150 million shares under the code HPX at the starting price of VND26,800 each with a trading band of 20% on the first trading day on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange on July 24. In 2018, HPX aims to earn a net profit of VND320 billion on revenue of VND3.2 trillion, up 41% and 100% against last year, respectively.

HCMC – FLC Group (FLC) has announced to buy one million shares of AMD Mining and Investment Company (AMD) to hold a 0.6% stake in the latter. AMD share price is around VND3,200 each on the HCMC market.

HCMC – The local stock market declined strongly in the third consecutive losing session on July 11 as sellers took the upper hand. With losers far outnumbering gainers by 241 to 50, the VN-Index of the Hochiminh Stock Exchange slumped a hefty 17.96 points, or 1.97%, versus the previous day at 893.16.

HCMC – Becamex Infrastructure Development Company (IJC) will spend VND137 billion paying a dividend of VND1,000 per share for 2017 on the record date of July 20. Currently, IJC has over 137 million outstanding shares. The firm plans to make the payment on August 15. In the first quarter of 2018, it earned a consolidated net profit of VND54.2 billion on revenue of VND353.7 billion, up 3.3-fold and 2.2-fold year-on-year, respectively.

HCMC – HDBank has successfully issued VND1 trillion worth of bonds in a private placement, following an offer of VND5 trillion worth of bonds earlier this year. The unconvertible, unsecured bonds have a face value of VND1 billion each and a tenor of three years.

HCMC – Everland Investment Company (EVG) will pay a dividend of VND500 per share for 2017 on the record date of July 9. The firm currently has 30 million outstanding shares. It will make the payment on July 30. Besides this, the firm will issue an estimated 10 million shares on July 9 at a 1-for-1 ratio at the selling price of VND10,000 per share. It will sell the shares between July 17 and August 2.
