Punishments on Dinh La Thang, other defendants likely to be upheld

HCMC – The High-level People’s Procuracy in Hanoi City on June 22 suggested upholding the original verdicts at appeal hearings for Dinh La Thang, former board chairman of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PVN), and six other defendants for their roles in PVN’s lost investment of VND800 billion in Ocean Commercial Bank (OceanBank).
