Hanoi seeks to improve security at spring festivals

In recent years, major spring festivals in the north, especially in Hanoi City, have sparked a strong public uproar as they are often plagued with chaos and violence. During the forthcoming Lunar New Year 2018 holiday, commonly known as Tet, authorities of Hanoi City have decided to tighten security at traditional cultural festivals to minimize the confusions.
