New Zealand’s young pianist Jason Bae stages a classical piano concert called “Reflections of a Moment” at 7.30 p.m. on the evening of September 28 at the Soul Live Project in District 3, HCMC.

The 26-year-old plays outstanding masterpieces by famous composers such as Frédéric Chopin, Maurice Ravel and Sergei Rachmaninoff.

Born in South Korea, the artist began playing the piano when he was five years old. He made his concerto debut with the Auckland Symphony Orchestra at the age of 12. A year later, he shot to fame as the youngest concerto soloist to perform with the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra in front of 200,000 spectators.

When he turned 26, he earned a Master’s degree in piano. He has performed extensively from Carnegie Hall in New York to Steinway Hall in London.
