Huawei Technologies Vietnam Company has announced that the top 10 Vietnamese students from six local universities have been selected for the second “Seeds for the Future” program in Beijing and Shenzhen.

During a two-week trip which began on Saturday, the Vietnamese students will learn about the production process at Huawei and get some ICT training on the world’s leading technological solutions such as Smart City, 5G, Internet of Things and cloud computing.

This year, the Vietnamese team will take part in the program and exchange with students from Mozambique and Zambia.

The program is an effort of Huawei Vietnam to provide opportunities for Vietnamese students in the ICT sector to gain access to new ICT technologies and boost cultural exchanges with international friends.

As of late 2016, the program had been implemented at 96 countries and international organizations around the world. More than 280 universities and 30,000 students worldwide have benefited from the program.

Among them, 2,700 university students have joined a fact-finding trip to the headquarters of Huawei in China.
