Heineken Vietnam helps poor people enjoy Tet

Heineken Vietnam has launched its annual “Warm Spring” program to present 3,000 Tet gifts totaling more than VND1.2 billion to underprivileged households nationwide as part of its sustainable business strategy.

Around 120 poverty-stricken households in Long Hoa Commune and Can Thanh Town in the outlying coastal district of Can Gio received gift donations with a total value of around VND85 million. 

Apart from HCMC, the company is expected to expand the program to 19 provinces and cities hit by storms including Bac Lieu, Kien Giang, Dong Thap, Phu Yen, Quang Nam, Danang, Haiphong and Hanoi. The program lasts until February 9.

A representative of Heineken Vietnam told the Daily that this is the seventh year in a row that the company has carried out the meaningful program to show its corporate social responsibility to the local community and share difficulties with less fortunate people during the Tet holiday, Vietnam’s biggest and most important national holiday.
