Germany’s Thomas Anders to stage Hanoi gig

World-famous singer Thomas Anders of Germany’s legendary pop band Modern Talking came back to Vietnam for a one-night show called “Modern Talking ft Thomas Anders Live in Concert” on March 7 at the National Convention Center in Hanoi.

According to IB Group Vietnam, the organizer of the concert, this is the second performance by the German artist in the country. His first tour in 2016 heaped praise from thousands of music lovers in the country.

Modern Talking has been the most popular German band in the world with two members, comprising vocalist/composer Thomas Anders and artist manager/composer/singer Dieter Bohlen. The band has gained international recognition in the 1980s with millions of fans across Europe, Asia, South America and Africa thanks to their signature songs including “You Can Win If You Want,” “Cheri, Cheri Lady,” “Heaven Will Know,” “Brother Louie” and “Atlantis Is Calling.”

Anders, who has now turned 55, has kept his singing career intact thanks to his performance tours around the world.
