Hanoi-based British University Vietnam (BUV) organized the BUV Day late last week at its Ecopark campus, offering around 2,500 visitors a good chance to appreciate its high-standard facilities and meet with business executives from the school’s partners.

At the event, students and parents had chances to explore the school’s facilities of international standards, including a library spanning thousands of square meters, and physical and online learning materials from the Learning Resource Center which is linked with several reputable international publishers. They also were able to view firsthand classrooms and lecture halls equipped with state-of-the-art audio visual system and lecture capture system, and a sports complex with tennis courts and football fields.

Visitors were also invited to experience the real student life by participating in free classes. The learning program provided students with a general view of the job market in a wide range of sectors such as marketing, finance and tourism.

The BUV Day featured a series of seminars with the participation of education experts and senior executives from BUV partners like Rolls Royce Vietnam, InterContinental Hotels Group Indochina and ICAEW Vietnam. The seminars were designed for high-school students, especially those preparing for the university entrance examination.

Located in Ecopark Urban Area in Hanoi, the first phase of BUV Ecopark campus worth US$25 million has been complete. The whole project covers 6.5 hectares, requiring a total investment of US$70 million. It is expected to be home to more than 7,000 students.
