Italy team wins Danang International Fireworks Festival 2018

Italian team Martarello S.R.L. won the first prize worth US$10,000 at the Danang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2018, themed “The Legend of Bridges,” which concluded on June 30.

This was the second consecutive time Martarello S.R.L. had won the DIFF. Atlas PyroVision team from the U.S. were the runners-up.

The Italian team’s stunning performance demonstrated boats carrying dreams, optimism and friendship, with vibrant firework displays and charming Italian music background.

The performance by runners-up Atlas PyroVision treated the audience to memorable moments with sparkling fireworks and explosive music.

The night was opened with a flashmob show by students from Danang University of Economics and University of Danang, which was followed by “Beautiful Dreams” performance by Oplus band and dance troupes Mai Trang, Hoang Thong, Sac Viet, and Ukrainian artists.

The final night also featured famous Vietnamese singers, including Ho Ngoc Ha, Phuong Linh, Thuy Dung, Dinh Huong, and Hoang Hai.

According to Dang Minh Truong, CEO of Sun Group, the organizer of DIFF, the company spent nearly VND140 billion on the fireworks festival. There were more than 35,000 tickets sold out during the two-month event, with total revenue of VND14.8 billion.
