HCMC - From the chic ambience of the Presidential Suite on its 21st floor, Le Méridien Saigon launched LMSG Ensemble Season 02 on July 7.

Following the first year’s success, Le Méridien Saigon ignites another eventful season, building on the promise of bringing local art to the most distinctive guests and virtual followers.

The evening kick-started with a brief trip down memory lane, showcasing the best moments of LMSG Ensemble Season 01 with its various ateliers, workshops and art gatherings.

An introduction to the new artists’ line-up followed, presenting six talents together with Bobby Nguyen, who is not a new face to the project but this time he is promoted to the role of “Art Director”.

Travel and Well-Being also feature courtesy of renowned artists Quang Dai and Helly Tong respectively.

“We believe that the arts vehicle is not limited to traditional arts, arts are a reflection of life, therefore, we want to celebrate Travel and a Healthy Lifestyle with our creative minds,” said Justin Malcolm, Le Méridien Saigon’s general manager.

These seven artists include fashion designer Truong Thanh Long, Chef Nguyen Si Toan, painter Tim Pham, traveler Tran Quang Dai, art of well-being inspirer Helly Tong, art director Bobby Nguyen and photographer Thien Minh.

“It’s my honor to take part in LMSG Ensemble this year with other young artists. I hope their enthusiasm and activeness will encourage me and the audience to live creatively and healthily. Together, we will prove that a successful person should be judged by not only his or her appearance but also the inner beauty,” fashion designer Truong Thanh Long said at the launch ceremony.

LMSG Ensemble is an art vehicle through which local artists will curate experiences enabling guests and virtual followers to discover the destination and get engaged directly.

In this 12-month project, the artists will team up and create different art journeys in the format of workshops, events, exhibitions or social media competition to promote the discovery of HCMC though their creative lenses.
