The new InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort, which was opened on June 28, is offering plenty of activities, services and amenities tailored especially for those traveling with children.

The resort sits along the tail end of Phu Quoc Island’s Long Beach, a 15 minutes’ drive from the island’s international airport. This spot along the 20-kilometer stretch of beach is the perfect place for families to experience picturesque tropical beaches, pristine waters, magnificent ocean sunsets and local cultural charm.

The resort has a 250-square-meter Planet Trekkers Kids’ Club where parents can be assured that their children will be fully supervised while engaging with lively indoor and outdoor activities.

These include games and themed activities that introduce children to the vibrant Vietnamese culture, the arts of dancing, acting, and crafting, such as conical hat and lotus lantern making to be worn and lit during the daily sunset ritual. Also featured are fun drama lessons, dress-ups and a show at the resort’s auditorium.

The resort has a dedicated children’s dining area, which doubles as an exciting “Kids Can Cook” cooking school, leaving children entertained for hours.

Across the resort there are four swimming pools for families to take part in various water-based activities like water slide and games, and feeding Koi fish.

For couples seeking a romantic night out for two, they are welcome to leave their children in their room or suite, with the resort providing experienced babysitters and nannies for hire.

The 459 guest rooms of the resort include 115 one-, two- and three-bedroom suites with kitchens that are ideal for families of all sizes, offering multiple sleeping and dining options for parents and carers traveling with children, while a choice of luxurious villas are also suitable for multi-generational families wishing for more space and privacy.
