Ganesha, the Lord of Knowledge and also the God of Auspicious Beginnings and Remover of all Obstacles, is one of the most widely worshipped deities in India.

Ganesha is an iconic deity who is worshipped across continents and oceans, including in South East Asia. Particularly, the Ganesha of Danang is a vital joint civilizational link between India and Vietnam.

Across all regional and language boundaries, the annual Ganesha Festival is celebrated with singing, chanting, traditional and modern music, and the ceremonial immersion of Ganesha idols made of mud in water bodies.

Eating traditional food, wearing traditional clothes, and visiting and celebrating with family and friends are an integral part of this magnificent cultural event.

The Ganesha Festival will feature an array of activities including welcome remarks about Ganesha Festival, Indian songs about Ganesha, storytelling, cartoon and songs for kids, Ganesha photo exhibition, Ganesha display corner, photo corner, and food and Henna stalls.
